RCD load is a kind of non-linear simulation load, which can be used to test UPS power supply, inverter power supply, etc., to understand its real working ability with non-linear loads such as computers and network equipment. Through accurate detection of the output power and quality of the power supply, it can avoid that it cannot drive the load or cause pollution to the power grid during actual use, thereby ensuring the safety of power supply. With the development of digitalization and networking in today's society, rectifying loads such as computers and network equipment are used in large numbers. The load formed by these rectifying filter circuits has non-linear characteristics, and its resistance value is not constant, which has higher requirements on the output range and stability of the power supply equipment. Therefore, for network UPS power supply, inverter power supply and other power supply equipment, analog loads with nonlinear characteristics must be used to debug and test their crest factor and other parameters.
Traditional RLC-type analog loads are based on linear loads and cannot simulate the changing characteristics of non-linear loads. It is also difficult to test the actual performance of UPS power supplies, inverter power supplies, etc. in the environment of data centers and network tension power supplies. Only by using RCD non-linear loads can the most accurate judgment on the output power and power quality of the power supply equipment be made.
According to GB/T 7260.3-2003 {Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Part 3: Methods of Determining Performance and Test Requirements} and other relevant national standards, through in-depth R&D and testing, the design specifications and parameter standards for RCD loads have been determined and developed The new RCD simulates the load.
IP-RCD load box, the resistance load adopts new power consumption components, the resistance is heat-shrinked and installed in the stainless steel tube, and the outside of the steel tube is equipped with insulating fins, which has good moisture and corrosion resistance, good heat dissipation, high insulation, and safety and reliability. The resistance element has high power density, no red heat, and an independent cooling fan to ensure the heat dissipation and service life of the entire system. The capacitive load adopts imported Hitachi capacitors, and the working time is more than 6000 hours. The fan adopts a small axial flow fan, which has the characteristics of large air volume, good heat dissipation, and low noise. The above features make the whole machine superior to imported products in terms of safety, reliability, and noise reduction.

1. Alloy resistance
The core part of the load-the dry load module can convert electrical energy into heat, and perform continuous discharge tests on the generator set, power supply and other equipment under test. Our company adopts self-made alloy resistors to form the load module. Aiming at the characteristics of dry load safety that are easily affected by temperature, strict quality control is adopted in temperature coefficient and heat dissipation performance. The alloy resistors produced have small temperature drift, slow temperature rise, and fast heat dissipation. , The heat resistance is stronger when working at full load, and it can work stably for a long time.
The specific technical solutions and goals are as follows:
(1) The alloy resistance wire material is made of nickel-chromium alloy (NiCr6023) with high temperature resistance (the highest can work at 1300°C), stable electrical performance, and low temperature drift coefficient (5*10-5/°C). This alloy resistance represents The most advanced alloy resistor manufacturing level at present.
(2) The material of each component of the power dissipation resistor is strictly regulated. The pipe body is made of stainless steel 321 (1Cr18Ni9Ti) with high stretchability and oxidation resistance, and the filling material is export-grade electrical crystal magnesia powder (Sg-9). It is JBY-TE4088-199, the density value of magnesia during the manufacturing process is 3.0g/cm3±0.2, and the terminal screws and fixing screws are made of corrosion-resistant and high-temperature stainless steel 304 (0Cr18Ni9). Through strict and clear material control, it can ensure that the mass-produced alloy resistors have a highly consistent performance.
(3) The heat sink is made of stainless steel 321 with a height of 7mm±2 and a thickness of 0.4mm±0.2, and the winding interval of the heat sink is less than or equal to 3mm±0.2.
(4) When the withstand voltage of a single power dissipation resistor is DC3000V or AC1500V, 50Hz, there will be no breakdown in 1 minute. By connecting multiple alloy resistors in series, the withstand voltage can be guaranteed to reach 20kV.
(5) The average temperature of the heat sink of the alloy resistor is 300℃, the highest is 320℃, and there is nearly 5 times the margin from the highest temperature of the resistance of 1300℃, so as to ensure that the alloy resistor can work continuously for a long time.
(6) When the power resistance reaches 300-400, the temperature drift is still ?%, thus ensuring that the load resistance will not fluctuate greatly under high temperature conditions, and a stable power value can be loaded no matter what temperature.
(7) Regardless of whether it is cold or hot, the load error is ?%.
(8) The temperature of the air outlet of the whole machine is 80℃ (1M range).
2. Capacitance
(1) The capacitor adopts imported aluminum electrolytic capacitor. The imported capacitors are small in size, large in capacity and long in service life. Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are usually made of metal foil (aluminum/tantalum) as the positive electrode, and the insulating oxide layer of the metal foil (aluminum oxide/tantalum pentoxide) as the dielectric. The negative electrode of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor is composed of thin paper/film or electrolytic polymer immersed in an electrolyte solution (liquid electrolyte).
(2) The imported capacitor used has a voltage resistance of 450V and a temperature of 105°C. The voltage of the capacitor is about 290V~310V when the load is working normally, and the temperature is in the range of 40°C to 50°C.
